Dura Deck Aluminium SD has been developed in conjunction with leading developers, contractors and balcony manufacturers. It provides a safe and cost-effective decking solution for balconies and high-rise terraces, and for any project that requires an A2 fire rating.
Suited to Off-Site Manufacturing Techniques
Spanning up to 600mm between supports on a 2kN distributed load, the decking boards feature a grooved surface to aid rainwater dispersal and are particularly suited for use with ‘slide-on‘ cassette balconies. The majority of the decking boards can be installed during off-site manufacture, with the remaining boards sliding in as the balcony is lifted into place, improving the speed, quality and safety of the decking installation process, and reducing labour costs on-site.
Free Draining
The innovative Dura Deck Aluminium SD integrates seamlessly with our aluminium joist and pedestal system to meet even the lowest of build-up heights, and our proprietary fixing clip can be used to create a free draining balcony installation.
Fire Tested to the Correct Methodology
Achieving an A2fl-s1 Fire Rating, Dura Deck Aluminium’s fire testing has been conducted in conjunction with the correct flooring test and installation method on a horizontal plane, for absolute peace of mind.
Advanced Structural Performance
The lightweight nature of Dura Deck Aluminium reduces the structural load on buildings. The products have undergone stringent testing to guarantee their effectiveness and performance under both point load and crowd loading in accordance with relevant building codes. Our published data meets the requirements of the most recent 2.0kN point load @ 0.5% deflection (L/200) BS 6399-1:1996) standard, rather than the now obsolete 4kn criteria referenced by many others.
Warranty
The Dura Deck Aluminium range has a powder coated finish and comes with a 25 year warranty. Please refer to our supporting Technical Manual for full warranty conditions. You can activate your warranty within 30 day.

Dura Deck Aluminium Free-Drain 18mm has a range of intelligently designed trims and accessories so you can be sure of a simple and efficient way to start, install and finish your aluminium decking balcony or terrace design.
Because our Standard Full Length Main Clip runs the length of the decking board, it provides directional drainage. If your balcony design better suits a free draining solution, our 50mm Main Clips can be used in place of a Standard Full Length Main Clip. The End Closure trim can be used for terminating board ends with a neat finish. If your decking installation scenario requires a board to be trimmed down in length to complete your installation, a Cut Down Clip can be used to support the trimmed edge, giving a professional finish.

Aluminium Pedestals & Bearers
A2 fire-rated and height-adjustable support pedestals and bearers can be easily combined to suit all project needs. With 8 different heights of pedestals and 3 different heights of bearers, the Dura Composites system provides the most economical substructure combination on the market and is suitable for use as a decking substructure on external balconies, terraces roof gardens, domestic gardens, or for industrial flooring.
This system has been developed to be fully compatible with the latest developments in fire safety legislation and to improve building safety and achieves a Class A2 fire rating to EN13501-1 standards with its standard anthracite powder coated finish and an A1 rated mill finish is also available by special order.
